Seller responsibility
Sellers are responsible for fulfillment, delivery, service performance, cancellations, and the refund terms that apply to their listings. Buyers should review the seller's fulfillment and refund terms before purchasing or committing to a transaction.
External purchases
Purchases completed on a seller's website, store, booking service, ticketing service, or other external destination are governed by the seller's terms and the external service's terms. Requests for cancellation, return, refund, or dispute resolution should be directed to the seller or external service as applicable.
Payment-provider and card-network dispute processes remain governed by those providers. HypeD does not control or override their decisions.
HypeD's role
HypeD is not automatically the seller and does not guarantee delivery, authenticity, quality, legality, availability, seller performance, or refund eligibility. HypeD does not provide escrow or universal buyer protection.
Preconfin may review marketplace reports, remove or restrict listings, restrict or suspend accounts, preserve relevant records, and cooperate with lawful requests. A moderation action does not decide a buyer's legal rights or require an external provider to issue a refund.
For a HypeD-processed physical marketplace order, the seller must ship within five business days and provide valid tracking. Buyers should report lost, damaged, wrong, or materially not-as-described items through HypeD. The initial rollout supports full refunds only after review; buyer-remorse refunds are not automatic. Refunds and disputes follow HypeD marketplace policy.
For a full marketplace refund, HypeD records and reconciles the tax portion separately from seller merchandise and shipping proceeds. A refund or payment dispute may require correction of marketplace tax records. Disputed tax is not treated as seller proceeds. Payment-provider and tax reporting treatment may differ; HypeD preserves the transaction's original tax evidence and marketplace entity.
Before purchasing
Buyers should:
- Review the listing, seller identity, price, availability, fulfillment terms, and refund terms.
- Review the external service's terms and privacy practices.
- Keep records of the listing, transaction, and relevant communications.
- Avoid sending payment through an unexpected method or responding to pressure to act immediately.
Users may report fraud, unsafe listings, misleading claims, or prohibited activity through HypeD's reporting tools or by contacting [email protected].
